All the gardens we design and produce are site-specific, responding to both the architecture of the
property and the surrounding landscape. We use traditional
materials in a modern way to create a
harmonious and logical relation between house and garden.
A strong and simple framework is central to all
projects. Planting is then used to soften this framework or
to reinforce it. Completed projects range in scope
from shoestring to 175,000 euros. But whatever the size,
we have a healthy respect for budget, given
conditions and neighbouring environments.
As well as numerous private gardens and rooftops, other projects
include:
• habitat restoration and new gardens on a 30 acre
coastal site in SW Ireland,
• a 3.5 acre garden in Sri Lanka,
• ecological planting schemes for a large Victorian cemetery,
• terraces for a new London hotel,
• gardens and roof terraces for private housing developers.
• collaborative projects with several architectural practices.
