More than 1,500 plants were used to create this communal roof garden. Along with granite ter- races, cedar seating and ambient lighting they make a year-round "green retreat" for the residents. Semi-mature trees and ornamental grasses were used for the street level landscape.

The landscape was an important element of the development from planning to the final stages and involved close collaboration with client, architects and structural engineers.

Crushed brick and green waste were reclaimed, recycled and reused as a lightweight growing medium for the rooftop planting.
