Helping to break up this typical long, narrow London garden a simple ground-plan of crisp straight lines is softened with exuberant planting, while a central sun-drenched dining terrace is framed with a chunky ‘L’ shaped timber and steel structure.

Access was improved with new steps and landing that wrap around an ornamental pond, leading gently from the terrace to the upper garden level. Floor to ceiling folding glass doors were installed to connect the lower level open plan living space with the garden.

Dark basalt paving and aggregate paths create a strong contrast with the abundant greenery.
